Description

Trichopsis pumila (aka Sparkling Gouramis) is a small, social gourami. Barely exceeding 1.5", these diminutive fish make good centerpieces for small planted tanks. They are very easygoing and can be kept with most similar-sized fishes, but they are shy and poor competitors so particularly boisterous tankmates are best avoided. These gouramis have also been known to attack shrimp so dwarf shrimp such as Neocaridina sp. are best avoided.

These are subadults around 0.75" long.
