Description
The Red Flame Pleco, Panaqolus sp. L271, is a smaller, largely wood-eating pleco from the lower Amazon river. Reaching up to about 5", these plecos have tan, brown, and ruddy-orange striping. Like all panaqolus these xylivores need driftwood in their diet, but will eat just about anything.
These are F1 juveniles around 2.5" long.
