Description
Sicyopus exallisquamulus is a freshwater goby from hill streams in Indonesia. Like the popular Stiphodon gobies, it prefers cooler, well-oxygenated water and appreciates high flow. Unlike Stiphodon, these gobies are carnivorous and thus a little less demanding to keep. Males develop red tails and lips, hence their common name.
