Description
Geosesarma spp. are a group of beautifully coloured, mostly terrestrial dwarf crabs from Southeast Asia. These crabs are fully freshwater and either need a nicely filtered water feature, or a large water bowl. Make sure there are plenty of branches or rocks coming out of the water to avoid drowning. Feeding is not difficult as these crabs will eat anything from pellets, crickets, fish, to even some live plants.
This is likely a locale or morph of the Red Devil vampire crab, G. hagen. They overall look similar but have a purple-ish black back instead of red.
