Description
Hypoptopoma sp. 'Peru Orange', also known as Nannoptopoma sp. 'Robocop', among other names; this as undescribed species that has been given a variety of trade names by different sources. These small armoured catfish are very similar in care to other otocinclus; they stay small, do best when kept in schools, and are efficient algae eaters/grazers. They have more colour than most other Otos, with orange-brown colour in the facial region.
