Description
Erpetoichthys calabaricus, also known as the Reedfish, is a species of polypterid that is widespread in West Africa. These beautiful, eel or snakelike fishes reach about 3 feet maximum, although closer to 2 feet is average for aquarium specimens. Very peaceful for their size, they will not usually bother any fish that don't fit in their mouth. As social creatures, we recommend keeping at least a pair instead of just one. When kept alone they may be shy and withdrawn, and may not eat consistently.
This is a batch of adults, around 10-14" long. Their size means that if ordered in bulk there may be surcharges for large packages! We will contact you if necessary once you place an order.
