Description
Poecilia wingei is a livebearer closely related to the ubiquitous guppy, P. reticulata. They usually have “lyretail” type finnage and stay smaller than guppies, with males generally not exceeding 1.25”. Females are generally colourless/tan, unlike the colourful females typical of many popular guppy morphs. Many modern commercial varieties of both guppies and endlers are actually hybrids between the two; those hybrids sold as Endlers will still stay smaller, like pure Endlers.
These are Santa Maria endlers, about 0.75" long. Based off colour and body form these may be pure endlers, although they are not verified N-class.
