Description
Alien Bettas are a new line of domestic Betta sp, derived from hybrid wild betta stock. You can almost think of them as if someone took wild wolves today and 'remade' dogs from scratch. They have been selected for different traits from domestics, such as retaining the black webbing in the fins, and to develop 'full-mask' colouration. Care is largely the same as domestics, but these guys will show their best colour and behaviour in a blackwater tank with leaf litter and richly stained water.
These are copper aliens, in which males have a metallic silvery base colour that shines orange or purple depending on the angle it is viewed from.
