Tropica Plant Growth System 60 Refill Cylinders are intended for use with the Plant Growth System 60 CO2 delivery system (sold separately).

Therefore, without adequate CO2 fertilization, the plants in your aquarium will likely suffer while algae takes over and damages the delicate balance of your aquatic ecosystem. The Tropica Plant Growth System 60 is a simple and practical way to provide your aquarium plants with an adequate supply of CO2 so that they can grow and thrive and help keep algae at bay. Each cylinder contains approximately 169 fluid ounces (5000 ml) of CO2 and should last for over 2 months in a 5.28 gallon (20 L) tank. However, the Tropica Plant Growth System 60 can also be used in smaller doses for starter sets and small aquarium setups.
