Description
Alestopetersius caudatus is a larger tetra from Africa, somewhat rarer than the popular Congo Tetra. These tetras are very similar in the care and overall shape but have a lovely, silver-blue sheen on the body and a bright yellow tail. Despite their large size (for a tetra) they are quite laid back and do well in mid to large sized community tanks.
These are young adults around 2.5" long.
