Description
Botia striata is one of the smaller species of Botiid loaches, reaching only about 3.5" max. These fish have a pleasing gold and navy striped pattern that is unique among loaches. Zebra Botia are the perfect snail-control option for those without room to house Clown Loaches long term; zebras have just as much of an appetite for snails, but are only a fraction of the size of Clowns. Like all loaches they are best kept in groups; 3 should be the minimum considered, but a group of 6 or more ideal.
These are subadults around 2-2.5" long.
